General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will deal with some unsettling news. She’ll not only find out Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is out of Pentonville, she’ll find out Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is back in!
General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Cain Didn’t Want Carly Spencer To Know
When the Pentonville guards came to transport Drew from GH back to Pentonville, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) was there-she was going to call Carly.
But Drew didn’t want her to know right then, he likely planned to call her himself later. But Carly does find out, and when she does, she is frantic-there’s Cyrus out in the hallway of GH and Drew’s room vacated and she thinks Cyrus took him!
Luckily, she gets a call just as she is ready to call the police-from Drew, and she and Cyrus don’t intermingle. Cyrus doesn’t even see her, he’s there to see someone else-Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey).
GH Spoilers: Drew Cain Tells Her He’s Okay And It’s Okay
Drew tells her he’s okay and it’s okay, but Carly is upset because she’d hoped the plan she and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) had put in place would work. At this point Carly is getting ready to set up a visitation with Drew in the prison, but she’s going to call Alexis and ask her what happened.
Drew tells her to hold on and be patient-he didn’t have Elizabeth call her because he didn’t want her to see him carted out. He is still not back in general population, he’s in a safer area with guards looking out for him, but he hopes too that Alexis’ plan will work.
Carly is relieved that for the time being, he’s been held in a safer area of the prison and close to the infirmary just in case.
General Hospital Spoilers: Too Soon To Tell
Carly finally reaches Alexis and finds out that while she and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) did confront Judge Albert Kim (Kurt Yue) with what they’d found, it’s not an immediate process.
Alexis is afraid she blew it by grandstanding and acting like a lawyer instead of an investigative journalist, but she had heard Drew’s file was pulled by Kim.
Carly is even more on edge because that could be good, but on the other hand, that could be very bad-Alexis assures her it can’t be made worse.
Kim cannot change the original verdict overnight, a legal process has to take place and another hearing must be set up. Even if he were to vacate his ruling, the wheels of justice must be allowed to turn, but he wouldn’t pull Drew’s file if he weren’t considering something.
