Sasha’s New Career Path Revealed – Done with Deception & Exhausting Spotlight?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will have a difficult conversation about Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) future. Sasha has already caused too many PR nightmares in her problematic run as the Face of Deception, so Lucy and Maxie will consider other options.
Of course, it’s not Sasha’s fault that GH writers have decided to make her such a tortured character!
Sasha has been through nothing but anger, terror and agony for the past few years, so it’s no wonder her life has turned into a total spectacle.
Although Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) were to blame for sending Sasha off the rails, Deception is fragile right now.
It’s easy to see why Maxie and Lucy would contemplate a replacement when it comes to the face of their brand.
However, it’s possible Sasha will make a pitch to keep her job. After all, people love a good redemption story, especially when there are a couple villains like Dr. Montague and Gladys at the center of it.
Sasha could be viewed as a victim who rose above it all with the help of Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) as her knight in shining armor.
The public would probably eat that up, especially if Cody and Sasha did a joint interview.
On the other hand, Sasha might decide she’s done with Deception and the exhausting spotlight.
Perhaps after everything Sasha has been through, she’s ready for a quiet life away from the press and any other potential scandals.
If that’s the case, Sasha might save Lucy and Maxie the trouble of breaking the news about her replacement.
Maybe Sasha will announce that she’s resigning and handing over the Face of Deception role to someone else.
That could give Sasha an opportunity to explore another path entirely. It’d be interesting to see what road Sasha might head down next.
Sasha might end up doing something helpful to the community – like working at Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) youth center or some other project where she could feel like she was making a difference.
Since Sasha knows what it’s like to feel powerless and stuck, she might want to help other people avoid feeling that way.
Then again, Sasha might work at Crimson with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) or even go back to PCU to achieve some new career-related dream.
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say Sasha has a chance at a fresh start and may take full advantage of it, so stay tuned for updates on her future.
