According to the latest reports, Michael Easton announced his departure from General Hospital through a video on Instagram. Although he didn’t disclose the reason behind his exit, he revealed that he has finished filming his final scenes on the ABC soap. The actor shared the news shortly after wrapping up his shoot late at night. In his message, he said, “I have always been partial to the Irish goodbye,” confessing his fondness for slipping away unnoticed, without formal goodbyes. However, he felt his fans deserved better, prompting him to post a heartfelt message.

Easton expressed his sentiments about his time on the show and extended his gratitude to the entire cast and crew for allowing him to share the stage with them. The soap star made his debut as Dr. Hamilton Finn in 2016, a role that has had a major impact on his fans. Since his father, Gregory, passed away, Easton’s character was struggling to cope with the devastating loss. He began drowning his sorrows with alcohol which led to him losing everything that truly mattered.
In the last episode, Finn was seen leaving Violet for rehab so that he can win her daughter’s custody. Following his departure, fans took to social media to express their disappointment over Michael Easton’s decision to leave the show. Anyway, the soap’s official channel hasn’t made any official announcement about recasting Finn. The Return Of Lucky And Morgan
While Finn has moved out of the show, Lucky Spencer and Morgan Corinthos are making their way back to the ABC Daytime show. Jackson’s character Lucky, which originated in 1993, is now returning to portray the son of Laura and Luke. He last appeared in 2015 but will be seen again soon this summer. This time, he may return for a long stint as per reports.
