Willow admitted that was why she was at the hospital – so she could talk to Dr. Terry Randolph
(Cassandra James) and get updates on when she could return to work. Afterward, Gregory Chase
(Gregory Harrison) showed up and pulled Elizabeth aside to give her the news about his ALS, which Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) now knew about.
Liz assured Gregory that she’d be there for Finn and felt confident that Gregory would find the right moment to tell Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) the truth.
Over a game of backgammon, Finn and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) agreed not to discuss certain topics – like Gregory and the situation with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) at Deception – since they didn’t want to lie to each other.
Finn ultimately brought up Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and could tell that Tracy really missed him. Tracy suggested she was trying to stay busy with friends and her latest business project.
Brook Lynn eventually barged in and shut down the backgammon game. Finn took that as his cue to leave, so Brook Lynn privately raged at Tracy for targeting Deception through the lawsuit.
Tracy mentioned the company she was working with and defended her actions, but Brook Lynn argued Deception could be vulnerable to a hostile takeover or crumble before they got back on their feet.
After Tracy said that was the plan, Brook Lynn fired back about how it was no wonder Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) woke up as somebody else since he didn’t want to be Tracy’s kid!
At the Quartermaine stables, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) pointed out that even if she wanted to help Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) get committed, she couldn’t since she’s not related and has no legal standing. Cody argued that he could give Sam power of attorney.
General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, August 25, reveals that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) found Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) at GH and asked if she had room for one more nurse. Liz assured Willow that she was welcome back just as soon as she got her doctor’s approval.
Sam still had concerns about Cody potentially making Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) mental health even worse, but Cody was adamant that Sasha was being drugged and somehow Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) was responsible.
Cody insisted greedy Gladys orchestrated all this to stay in charge of Sasha’s money. After Cody urged Sam to put herself in Sasha’s shoes or imagine if one of her sisters needed help, she finally caved and said she’d have Cody committed.
At Crimson, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) made a phone call to ask if the stolen fake info had been downloaded yet. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) arrived right as Sonny disconnected, so he hinted for her to look on her desk.
After Nina found a gorgeous necklace that Sonny bought as a gift, he happily put it on her. Nina assured Sonny that she accepted all parts of him and wanted to know what was going on with Ava Jerome (Maura West), but he was determined to protect her.
Talk turned to planning their nuptials, so Nina admitted she was thinking of a winter wedding to give Willow a chance to fully recover. Sonny assumed Nina also hoped to have a better relationship with Willow by then.
Once Sonny reflected on his own progress with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), he suggested that things seemed to be looking up for them. Sonny got a call and had to take off, so Nina still seemed a bit pensive over being left out of the loop.
By the Metro Court pool, Molly Lansing-Davis (Brooke Anne Smith) brought Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to a meeting with Andrea Gates (Lily Anne Harrison), who had agreed to serve as a surrogate.
Alexis asked what this pregnancy would mean to Andrea, who insisted that she’d know going in that it was Molly and TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) baby to raise – not her own.
Andrea mentioned signing the contract and maintained that she wanted to help give Molly the gift of motherhood while providing for her own family. Alexis seemed satisfied with Andrea’s answers and offered her approval to Molly.
At one point during the meeting, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) saw what was happening nearby and chose not to intrude.
Instead, Kristina headed to GH and planned to check in with Dr. Randolph about whether she’d join her foundation’s board of directors.
However, Kristina bumped into Willow first and admitted she probably wasn’t in the right headspace for a meeting with Terry tonight. Willow listened as Kristina opened up about Molly’s infertility and how she reacted negatively to her surrogate offer.
Now Kristina felt completely shut out and thought Molly was punishing her for being able to have a baby when Molly couldn’t. Willow suggested that babies were great bridgebuilders, so she hoped Kristina and Molly could move beyond old wounds down the road.
Kristina hoped the same thing for Willow and Nina, so Willow seemed optimistic, too.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina will continue to make progress with Willow, but more trouble’s brewing sooner or later! CDL’s the place to be for great General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so make us your one-stop source.
