General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks, August 14 to August 25, reveal that Sonny Corinthos
(Maurice Benard) will move forward with a trap that’ll lead to some tight spots for Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).
The week of August 14-18 will bring some risks for Dex as he tries to carry out Sonny’s orders.
That could lead to some close calls with Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) as this storyline moves along.
Over with Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison), he’ll surprise Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) as they all dine together.
Gregory is obviously thinking about his decline and eventual mortality since he’s suffering from ALS.
It’ll leave Gregory wanting to make sure Chase settles down and makes the most out of his life, so he’ll start grilling Chase and Brook Lynn about marriage.
Later, Gregory will babysit Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) and struggle with some symptoms, so he’ll determine that he won’t be able to hide the truth for much longer.
Fortunately, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is about to receive some stunning news, so it seems he’ll finally learn his dad’s diagnosis and give Gregory some much-needed support.
At Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) rehab facility, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will show up and make a passionate speech.
Despite Curtis’ resistance, Portia will desperately want to stand by him and help him through his recovery.
On a lighter note, it seems there’ll be a luau at the Metro Court pool, so that’ll bring some festive decorations and a night of fun.
Next, Molly Lansing-Davis (Brooke Anne Smith) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will meet Andrea Gates (Lily Anne Harrison), who’ll be their new potential surrogate.
TJ and Molly will become fast friends with Andrea, who’ll seem like everything they could’ve hoped for in a surrogacy candidate.
Elsewhere, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will provide a stumbling block for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) as he works to help Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).
Brook Lynn will also load Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) up with booze and perhaps hope that lowers her guard enough to share details on her nefarious Deception plans – including the identity of her secret partner.
That could lead to Tracy arguing with “Eddie Maine” aka Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) while drunk since they have another big confrontation coming up.
As for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she’ll get some news that rocks her to the core – and it’ll leave her dealing with some suspicions during the week of August 21-25.
Will this involve more of Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) secrets regarding Pikeman or could someone else land on Anna’s radar?
Whatever the case, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will get honest with Anna and continue to provide support through his investigation.
Anna will eventually meet with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) as well, so the former police commissioner can weigh in with her thoughts on the case.
At Pentonville, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will face a scary threat and could end up fearing for his life.
Whether he’s in or out of solitary confinement, Drew may not be safe. No one is untouchable in a prison with so many shady power players working behind the scenes.
Sonny will extend an offer to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), so it looks like he’ll make sure she can visit Drew despite the visitor ban.
Of course, Drew could wind up in the infirmary or GH if the threat he’s facing gets too ugly.
Carly will ultimately deliver an urgent plea to Drew, so she may think he should talk to his lawyer and try to use the situation to his advantage.
Maybe Drew could get moved to Spring Ridge if he’s being targeted.
However, Carly could have an escape plot in mind for Drew if that plan doesn’t work out.
Drew’s safety has to be the priority since he’s got a young daughter waiting on the outside.
Sonny will have a stern warning for Carly later, so he may worry she’s about to stir up some trouble and put her own freedom on the line.
Other GH spoilers say Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will gain a new perspective when it comes to “Eddie,” so it could lead to feelings growing between them.
As for Finn, he’ll head to an AA meeting with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) as they deal with the reality of Gregory’s diagnosis.
Gregory will also get some medical news, but his doctor’s updates may not be what he wants to hear.
Back with Dex, he’ll do something to blow his cover and could land in jeopardy as a result. Will Dex find himself on Mason’s bad side and under his control?
At Deception, it looks like there’ll be a major crisis that leaves Brook Lynn furious, so Tracy may face backlash if she plays a role in it.
Meanwhile, Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) insecurities may take a toll and cause some conflict.
There’ll be a confrontation between Nina and Sonny, so she may feel like he’s always bailing on her without warning – especially if Carly’s got a problem.
Across town, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) will check in with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), so that’ll lead to a deep discussion.
There might be some talk about overcoming their Dawn of Day stints and heading down much better paths.
General Hospital spoilers say Kristina will open up to Willow and could perhaps try to sell her on Nina’s positive attributes as they talk.
