Billy Miller, known for his roles in All My Children, Young and the Restless, and General Hospital

has sadly passed away. He died on September 15, just days before his 44th birthday.

The exact cause of his death hasn’t been disclosed. Miller’s passing was confirmed by a representative from The Belmont, a restaurant bar in Los Angeles that he co-owned.

Born on September 17, 1979, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Miller pursued a career in acting after graduating from the University of Texas. He initially worked in the mailroom of Industry Entertainment in Los Angeles and later signed with the Wilhelmina modeling agency. His breakthrough came with commercials, including two for Electronic Arts’ The Sims.

In 2007, he landed the role of Richie on All My Children, a character known for terrorizing his sister Annie. He won for Outstanding Supporting Actor in Drama Series in 2010 and 2013, and for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 2014.

After leaving Y&R due to contract disputes, he joined General Hospital in the role of Jason Morgan, which was previously played by Steve Burton. Later, GH writers revealed that Miller’s character was actually Drew Cain, Jason’s twin. Miller remained with the show until 2019.

In addition to his soap opera roles, Miller had an extensive acting career outside of daytime television. He appeared in films like American Sniper and TV projects such as Urban Cowboy, Fatal Honeymoon, and Bad Blood. His presence was also felt in various TV series like CSI: New York, Justified, Ringer, Suits, Ray Donovan, Castle, The Rookie, Major Crimes, Truth Be Told, and NCIS.
