Sonny’s once-impenetrable facade of strength and stability is now
crumbling under the weight of his own insidious actions,
leaving behind a trail of shattered relationships and fractured trust.
Among the most affected is his daughter, Kristina, whose unwavering loyalty
to her father is severely tested by his increasingly violent outbursts.
Kristina’s world is turned upside down as she witnesses Sonny’s brutal confrontation with Dex and his menacing threats towards his henchmen. Desperate for solace and understanding, she turns to Blaze, seeking refuge in the comforting embrace of a trusted love. However, this surrogate mother figure is now torn between her loyalty to Sonny and the need to protect herself from the darkness that has overtaken him.
Blaze, already deeply worried about her mother, learns of Sonny’s close relationship with Natalia. Sparks flew between Sonny and Natalia from the moment she arrived in Port Charles, culminating in an invitation for her to join him as his date to Brooklyn and Harrison Chase’s wedding. Despite the seemingly special evening they shared, Blaze’s mother remains unaware of Sonny’s frightening side. However, Blaze soon updates her mother on Sonny’s attack on Dex, warning her to stay away from him.
As Sonny continues to pursue Natalia, he may be surprised by her decision to distance herself and potentially even tell him to stay away. Meanwhile, Sonny struggles to repair his relationship with Kristina, who is appalled by his violent tendencies. Misunderstanding the situation, Sonny, possibly influenced by the dulling effects of fake bipolar medication, believes that Kristina betrayed him by revealing his dark side to Blaze’s mother.
Seeing Kristina as a traitor, similar to how he views Jason, Carly, Dex, and Michael, Sonny decides to cut ties with her. The father-daughter relationship deteriorates further, marking a significant and painful rift in their bond.
